It has a wonderful verdigris patina suggesting age and exposure to the elements. This is a very heavy piece even though the tree stump is hollow. This leads us to believe it may be patinated bronze but we can't be sure. One side of the trunk bottom shows more wear than the other side it is dark and shows some minimal rust.
