Frederic Magnien Les Baudes, Chambolle-Musigny Premier Cru, France 2019 Weißburgunder Just a hint of sweet

Just a hint of sweet fruit and wet earth

rich and broad

some nuts (pecan) and a volatile twist with great freshness

But then it finishes etheral and so agile and beautiful

juicy fruit and polished and chewy tannins

Frederic Magnien Les Baudes, Chambolle-Musigny Premier Cru, France 2019 Weißburgunder Just a hint of sweetA highly spiced nose features notes of dark berry fruit liqueur, earth and a hint of violet. The saline, rich and relatively full bodied flavors exhibit ample minerality and a taut muscularity on the moderately austere but wonderfully long finale. This robust effort is more Bonnes Mares than Chambolle in style.
