Print - Salem - Sydney Curnow Vosper Necklace / Pendant A Little About the Maker…A beautiful print of the iconic 'Salem' by artist Sydney Curnow Vosper (1866 1942). You may have seen it hanging in a Welsh home. It is a depiction of Welsh piety, an illustration of traditional Welsh costume and perhaps something quite sinister; a portrait of the devil himself! The 1908 painting is set in Pentre Gwynfryn (Cefncymerau), near Llanbedr Harlech, Gwynedd and shows Sin Owen, who also features in 'Market Day in Old Wales'. You can read more
