Takashi Murakami: Infinity Grafiche Damiani In his workInfinity, a limited edition screen print by Takashi Murakami, belongs to a set of three prints derived from a scene in Gore Verbinskis 2006 adventure film Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Mans Chest in which octopean villain Davy Jones plays an organ with his tentacles. Abstracting comprehensively from this already curious incident, Murakami pictures an amoebic figure eight shape atop a ground of colorful Benday dots and expressive drips and spills.
