Misty Horizon, Waikato Mahurangi Harbour a desert plain from whichTrees stand on the far horizon of the Waikato plains near Pirongia, in the central North Island, on a foggy winter morning. This flat dairy country, south west of Hamilton, fills with dense fog when the air is cold and still. Stephen Milner photographed the scene in black and white as a path of light broke through the fog, leading the eye toward the distant silhouettes.
