SC Pannell Dead End Tempranillo 2022 Non-Vintage flush with fruit and burstingTwo parcels, one in McLaren Flat and the other Koomilya, Upper Tintara, two weeks on skins; matured in French oak puncheons. Black cherry, blackberry pastille, cherry cola, black jellybean, all sans confection, chinotto, leather, panforte spicing, scrubby herbs, a hint of violet or the like, the palate dutifully structured with classic tapas beckoning tannins. Its got a bit of intensity, presence, though its not big by any stretch. Very nice. Marcus
