Taking the fear out of abdominal organ biopsies - liver, gut, pancreas Wellbeing arteriotomiesThis lecture will review the indications and surgical techniques for abdominal organ biopsies. The focus will be on the surgical anatomy of the liver, intestines and pancreas and the optimum way to biopsy these organs, based upon clinical presentation and findings at exploratory laparotomy.
