The piece is a traditionally constructed lidded bucket and would have been used to store sugar. The box or firkin is in excellent condition and has its original soft fern green paint finish, beautifully rubbed back, with a lovely patina Measurements: H 23 cm D 23 cm Base to top of handle 34 cm
