Mahogany Obsidian Blade, ceremonial Blade / Spear Point Spider These are heat treated PalmThis is a modern spear point ceremonial blade that was knapped by yours truly. Mahogany Obsidian comes from several places in the world but this particular piece came from Glass Buttes Oregon. Obsidian was widely used by ancient people and was almost exclusively used by some South American tribes. It measures 10 1 2" in length and is 2 1 4" wide.
