Spring leaf color is a pleasing lime green that deepens to a darker hue as the leaves mature. Like many Japanese maples that have good fall color this maple has outstanding colors of gold, orange and then finally bursting into scarlet red a true showstopper during the fall months. Tobiosho is hardy and a moderate grower,
