Silver bands mounted top and bottom, hallmarked London 1869. Blonde colouring with some figuring to the horn and an engraved symbol to the cartouche. Makers mark for Thomas Johnson who is recorded by the British Museum as having premises at this time in Dyers Buildings, Holborn, London makers of a wide range of silver small work who supplied several retailers.
