2013 Anna Maria Abbona "SorÌ_ dij But" Dolcetto di Dogliani layered and elegantly conceived wineI hate to speak in superlatives with regards to wine, since bottle variation and personal preference can vary dramatically, but Im still calling it: Sor_ dij But has the prettiest, most expressive nose of any Dolcetto Ive tried. Pure blue fruit shines through immediately, with darker notes of blackberry and deeper lush raspberry rounding out the palate. The finish leans more rustic, with hints of tea and an earthiness that make this wine feel bigger
