This pattern is from Coban in the Guatemalan highlands

The fabric or ‘Corte’ used for this bag was previously worn as a skirt

I have updated it by re-enforcing it with natural leather as well as adding a handle

Theses tube shaped skirts are worn by Mayan women all over the country
