All of our rugs here at The Basket Room are crafted by Bernard, who weaves each sisal mat on his hand loom in rural Kenya. Our handwoven floor mats are woven from sisal, a fibrous grass. The leaves are split, rolled and hand dyed before Bernard works the fibres through his loom,
