Poteries de Picasso Lucian Freud The print’s subject derives fromDesigned by the artist, this vintage poster was produced to accompany Poteries de Picasso, an exhibition of Pablo Picassos pottery at the Maison de la Pense Franaise, Paris, in 194849. It incorporates a charming line drawing of an owls head rendered as a simple spiral with eyes and beaka motif not repeated in other posters by the artistand presents the shows title in lively hand drawn white lettering against a solid auburn ground. The lithograph was
