This Iwasaki has minor pitting in the blade  and is pretty ground down as the blade before was unevenly honed resulting in some material loss and necessary regrinding of the Omote side(side without markings) - this esthetic defects results in the price difference to other Iwasaki Tamahagane pieces from first Master Kosuke Iwasaki

but we can recognise it from the outer form)
