The land around the river is marshy and in summer the reeds and grasses are a wonderful golden colour enhancing the reflection on the still water and perfect blue skies

There are a number of Dew Ponds in West Kerry

You can visit the island in the Summer months and there is a large seal colony that can be found basking of the beach

They come beautifully packaged in a cotton bag and box with the image of June's work on the front

This original mixed media painting was inspired by some kelp seaweed the dogs played with whilst out on a daily walk the day after a storm. The roots of the seaweed were shaped so like a dragon and even had an eye. This made me think of it floating around in the water and how much like a dragon it would look.
