It has a gentle northerly aspect and is coloured terracotta red by the distinct, iron rich soils over clay found in parts of the western ridge and northern Barossa. For wine nerds like me: a warm and dry winter of 2014 brought on an early growing season. Average summer temperatures followed and the triangle block was hand picked on 9 February. All
