The plate was made in the 1970s and is unmarked but most likely made by a Canadian pottery

but at some time water was left to air dry in the plate and has left a faint outline as seen in the last photo of the front of the plate

Tea caddy spoons were small spoons or scoops popularized by the Victorians to lock inside a tea caddy or tea canister with the precious and expensive tea they were used to scoop

Due to storage there is a small area of yellowing on one edge as seen in the photos

A very pretty floral pattern on a pale yellow band with hand colored floral swags and gold trim. Occupied Japan marks were only used between 1945 1952. The plate is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or wear. A piece of history that is useful & pretty!
