Arran 10 Year Old Size:Bottle (700ml) liquorice and feral nuancesTheres a lot to admire in this more friendly island malt. Its heart is in the Speyside in flavour terms. Fruit, toffee and a hint of heather, but with a very tiny nod to bonfire smoke. As if peat had been in the same county but not the same postcode! This makes it safe but not at the expense of interest. Plenty to explore in this medium bodied and smooth style of malt.
