I leave the front of the feathers partially exposed to allow the gorgeous, natural color to come through. These earrings come on hypoallergenic niobium ear hooks and are completely nickel free. These are safe to be worn by those with sensitive ears. All feathers that I use are cruelty free and comply with all laws
