Chateau Les Vimieres Le Tronquera Margaux 2022 (750ml) South complemented by spicy touches suchA rare and paradoxical wine: it is, very unusually, made from 100% Merlot in Margaux (!) and yet contains the soul and balance of Bordeaux in the most beautiful way. The 70 year old vines, meticulously cared for during the growing season, produce a concentrated wine, but Eric Boissenot is always careful to maintain the equilibrium that is the hallmark of classic Bordeaux.
