Fabriquero Durango Sotol collection-locally crafted 20% Ugni BlancSotol is a plant from the lily family that grows in the desert of Northern Mexico, called Dasylirion, or "The Desert Spoon." Currently one of two sotols produced in Durango, Don Hector Jimenez cooks the herbaceous sotol underground using mesquite and acacia, giving it a pronounced smoky note that balances perfectly with the fruity tones and long finish.
