The paint surface is original and untouched. The chairs were made sometime during the mid 19th century, between 1850 and 1880. Condition: There are minor scrapes and losses, but wear is far less than expected and the chairs are sturdy and were obviously well cared for. DETAILS Country: USA Condition: Very Good
