2016 | Rimapere Single Vineyard Pinot Noir | Marlborough Pommard Les Croix Noires freshly sanded cedarThis is on the lighter end of the Pinot spectrum. There's quite a bit of cinnamon and stalky characters here, but notes of strawberry and rhubarb are bright as well. Violet and white pepper notes add to the mix. The stalkiness continues on the palate, which is wispy and delicate, showing less in the way of oak and more in the way of crisp fruit and dried leaves.
