Antique Japanese (c1910) Hand Painted Sake Tokkuri Jug Blue & White 11" Games In Japan Bodhidarma or “Daruma-san”This is an antique Japanese sake jug (tokkuri) from the late Meiji Era (c. 1910). This type of sake jug was one of the first recyclables in that it could be returned to the sake company that made it and be refilled. It is all hand made and fired at high temperatures for lasting durability. Height = 11" (28cm) Diameter = 8. 5" (21. 5cm) Weight = 7lbs It remains in very good condition. It is high fire glazed both inside and out. Great as a stand alone
