Cocoknits - Bamboo Cable Needles Sock Yarn three cable lengths to makeI like to use bamboo double pointed needles for two things, when working cables and when picking up stitches to create the shoulders of a Cocoknits Method sweater. I like that bamboo is stickier than metal so the needle doesnt slip out of my stitches as easily. But, I was constantly storing the needle tucked into my hair or behind my ear, even between my teeth and I would invariably lose it. This was especially problematic when traveling and knitting!
