Qalix Fusta Sculpture • Paper weight: 189 g/m²This robotic face, carved to resemble aged wood with metallic seams, conveys an unsettling stillness. Its sealed eyes and neutral expression evoke a ritual mask or a being in stasis, suspended between the human and the mechanical. The cracked texture enhances the sense of age and wear. Sculpture carved in plaster, based on a cast from a fine grog refractory clay model, and reproduced in resin. Painted with shellac, chalk paint, acrylics, and varnish.
